The weekend is upon us again! The North Metro area is always full of fun activities. We’ve pulled a few to profile here that you may want to check out this weekend.
A Chocolate Affair – Old Town Arvada
The Ralston House in Arvada is hosting a fabulous fundraiser for a good cause! Bring your family and friends to taste chocolate. It doesn’t get much better than that.
A Chocolate Affair is an annual fundraiser to help stop child abuse in our community. Delicious chocolate-based food and drink may be purchased for $1 per taste.
All proceeds benefit Ralston House, a local nonprofit that provides a safe and healing place for over 1,200 children and families who have been victims of abuse.
This year’s event will be held in historic Olde Town Arvada on Saturday, February 4 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Valentine’s Day Chunky Knit Blanket Workshop®

Looking for some fun crafts and good food? Stop by Lucky Pie on Sunday, February 5th from 1-4pm and bring some friends! Lucky Pie in Louisville is hosting this fun workshop in conjunction with AR Workshops.
No knitting experience required! They will guide you step-by-step through the hand knitting process to create a super cozy, one-of-a-kind blanket. There will be lots of pink for Valentine’s Day.
Registration is required. Cost is $89 and includes all supplies and materials.

Baby Goat Yoga – The Orchard
Grab your yoga mat and head over to The Orchard in Westminster on Saturday, February 4th for Baby Goat Yoga!
Each session is a 45 minute goat yoga lesson and ends with a 15 minute decompression for the guests and goats. The guests can pet the goats, hold the goats and just spend time loving the gift of these cute and innocent animals.
And don’t forget to bring your camera so you can capture some sweet pictures with your new furry friends!

The Great Gatsby Theme Night – Westminster

Odde’s Music Grill’s Liquor Pie Lounge is hosting a fun theme night!
Dress-up in your favorite prohibition-era outfit or come as you are! They will be featuring prohibition era and champagne cocktails. There will be a piano player playing prohibition-era music for your entertainment as well as both versions of the movie on the big screen.
