Get ready to jam, North Metro Denver!
The Lafayette Music Festival is happening this weekend, Saturday, October 7th, at multiple venues throughout town with over 30 Bands like Snakes and Stars, Hazel Miller, Gasoline Lollipops, and Drunken Hearts.
There’s plenty of time to catch it – this all day music fest begins at noon and goes till midnight. What we love about this event is it’s like strolling downtown Nashville, but here in Colorado.
If you’re not groovin’ on the band in one location, just pop down the street for another act that may catch your vibe a little better. The music is everywhere!
One ticket gets you into all the locations including: Nissi’s, The Art Hub, The Muse, Tier Two Dive and The End Downtown. And for a free community stage, pop by the Art District for local student bands from School of Rock.
It’s time to get out in this amazing Colorado weather, discover the quaint and enchanting town of Lafayette, and best of all see a local band you love,…or discover a new one you always wish you’d known.
For tickets, a list of all the bands, times and locations visit Lafayette Music Fest site.
And for a peek at alt country band, Gasoline Lollipops (winner of Colorado Daily’s “Best Local Band” award) check out the YouTube link below:
