On July 4th, the festivities begin at 5:30pm with  food trucks and celebrations taking place at Stenger Sports Complex .  Professional fireworks begin at about 9 p.m.   Propane grills are allowed, but no RVs, drones, personal fireworks, pets or alcohol allowed.  Free parking and traffic closed on 58th.

Although there will not be fireworks in Boulder this holiday,  the Boulder Reservoir welcomes families to bring a picnic and enjoy the water .   The swim area will be open from 10am to 5:30pm.  Boulder is also celebrating Independence Day with symphonic classics at the historic Boulder Bandshell with the Boulder Symphony.

Start celebrating a day early when the city hosts its Stars & Stripes fireworks display on July 3 at about 9:30 p.m. over Riverdale Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Road. Food and beer vendors will begin serving at 4 p.m.  Live entertainment with country singer Thomas Mac begins at 7:30 p.m. The night will end with musical fireworks at 9:30 p.m.  The city asks that you please keep your pets at home.

Broomfield hosts its Great American Picnic and Fireworks on July 4 at Broomfield County Commons Park, 13200 Sheridan Blvd.  Starting at 5 p.m.,  there will be fun for the whole family, with inflatables, concessions and food vendors and a beer garden for those 21+.  Add a creative spin to your holiday in the one-of-a-kind Bike Parade, then enjoy the show with music starting at 6 p.m.  The fireworks display is slated to start at 9:15 p.m.

The celebration takes place on July 3 at Erie Community Park, 450 Powers St. Experts will launch fireworks at about 9:30 p.m.   As in previous years, the firework display will launch from the rooftop of the Erie Community Center at the Erie Community Park campus. Optimal viewing locations are at the Erie Community Park on either the Civic Green or Mitchell Field.  Erie encourages those in close proximity to the Erie Community Center to view from their homes or neighborhood parks to reduce traffic.

Festivities will be held at Carpenter Park Field  at 11000 Colorado Blvd.  from noon- 9:30.  Join Thornton for LIVE music throughout the day on two stages with food vendors, a beer garden AND parachutists at 9:30pm after the fireworks.
