Well North Metro, Spring came in with a bang – banging windows, doors, patio furniture and anything else you couldn’t keep tied down during that crazy wind storm this week. BUT, the weather has calmed, the birds are singing, and we are looking forward to some beautiful weather and spring activities this weekend.
The Orchard Town Center is showing off precious puppies and perfect pollinators at two of their events this week.
The Rescue Puppy Yoga class is currently full, but you can still pop by before or after to rescue an adorable pup if you have a home and lots of love to share. Classes are at 10am and 2pm and the pups will be there for both. Just stop by the area near Grandrabbits Toy Shop to take a peek.
The Pollinator Party is an Earth Day celebration offering presentations from the Butterfly Pavilion. It’s a fun way to educate yourself and your kiddos about the importance of our flying friends to the ecology and sustenance of our Earth. Stop by throughout the day for fun activities like flower pot decorating and building bird feeders.
The third annual Adams County Music Festival is running tonight and tomorrow (April 10th & 11th) at a private residence here in Westminster. Enjoy the music of 54 of the best and brightest young piano players performing on a grand piano. All proceeds go to student awards and judges fees.
The Erie Home Show is happening this Saturday at the Erie Community Center. Here you’ll find every vendor you can possibly need to tackle all of your home projects. No more excuses! Now, it’s even easier to get started on all of those projects with the experts on hand.
Pop by the “Art Night In” at Particulars Gallery and Teaching Studio in Lafayette this Friday to meet local artists and see some of their beautiful work for sale. There will be food and refreshments AND you can sign up for classes if you’ve always wanted to pick up that paintbrush.
Boulder always has a ton going on – most notably is an ongoing adorable exhibit at the Museum of Boulder called “Dog Tails”. Here you’ll find 43 beautiful dogs photographed in 39 stunning locations around Boulder. They are captured by photographer Marsha Steckling who has photographed over 4000 shelter dogs and families in her career. Proceeds for the event will go to the Longmont Humane Society.
