Ooooh! Halloween is right around the corner! Most of you are already stocked up with with all of your treats to “give away’, but let’s be honest ladies, many of those bite size little devils end up staying right in our hot little hands. Every year, it’s the same ol’ vow, “”THIS YEAR, “I’m not gonna eat any of this stuff!” But you and I both know that mantra goes right out the door as you enjoy the night with all the kiddos, friends, and perhaps a glass of wine.
Never fear – North Metro Woman has a solution to this guilt ridden pastime and here it is – stock a bowl of less sugary candy options for home consumption. That’s right, don’t hide it – just fill a bowl and put it right on the kitchen counter where it’s easy to reach.
We know, in years past, healthier options have not been that great, but honestly, low sugar candy is so much better than it used to be. Every since Costco began stocking up on candy brands, with an unbelievably 30%-40% less sugar, we’ve been giving the new options a taste test and the results are a resounding YES, it is good! Here are just some of the low sugar treats North Metro Woman is keeping stocked in her kitchen….just in case our will power breaks down:) Shout out to “Little Secrets” from Whole Foods , as well. Those dark chocolate little wafers are on hand year round!
