Northglenn Arts has a brand new theater, the Parsons Theater, that just opened in 2021. The new theater is gorgeous and is definitely worth seeing.
If you’re new to plays at the Northglenn Arts theater, you are in for a treat. Cultural Programs Director Kimberly Jongejan has directed over 80 plays at Northglenn Arts and is a master at what she does!
This North Metro Woman has seen a number of plays directed by Kimberly at Northglenn Arts and it’s amazing how she brings out the talent in the young performers on the stage. Many of the performers have taken acting classes through the Northglenn Youth Theater Academy. There are classes for all ages and levels of experience.

Call of the Wild: Illustrated Edition
***This show is not a youth show directed by Kimberly, but rather a multi-media adventure performed by Noah Gaulin. It is written and directed by Jason Trembley. Here’s a bit more about the show from the NYT website:
“This multi-media adventure mixes classic story telling with projected illustrations to tell the story of Buck, the magnificent cross-bred offspring of a St. Bernard and Scottish Collie. Kidnapped from his lavish life on a California estate and sent to work as a sled dog during the great Klondike Gold Rush. Buck fights to survive and becomes the most famous dog in the whole history of the northland. He discovers the endurance and strength of his wild, primal ancestors as their call courses through his blood.”
